Air Methods Corporation is a provider of air medical transportation services throughout the United States and designs, manufactures and installs medical aircraft interiors and other aerospace and medical transport products. The Company's divisions include Community-Based Model (CBM), Hospital-Based Model (HBM) and Products Division. The CBM Division provides air medical transportation services to the general population as an independent service. For the nine months ended 30 September 2005, Air Methods Corporation's, revenues increased 20% to $246.7M. Net income before accounting change totaled $8.4M, up from $3.4M. Revenue reflects increased flight revenue due to the addition of 10 new CBM bases & expansion of 8 contracts and higher sales of medical interiors & products. Net income benefited from increased gross margins due to higher flight volume for CBM & HBM operations.
