DXP Enterprises, Inc. is primarily engaged in the business of distributing maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products, equipment and service to industrial customers. The Company is organized into two segments: MRO and Electrical Contractor. The MRO segment provides MRO products, equipment and integrated services, including engineering expertise and logistics capabilities to industrial customers. The Electrical Contractor segment sells a range of electrical products, such as wire conduit, wiring devices, electrical fittings and boxes, signaling devices, heaters, tools, switch gear, lighting, lamps, tape, lugs, wire nuts, batteries, fans and fuses to electrical contractors. For the nine months ended 30 September 2005, DXP Enterprises Inc's revenues rose 6% to $130.6M. Net income applicable to Common rose 61% to $3.3M. Revenues reflect an increase in sales of pumps, bearings, safety products and the mill supplies products. Net income also reflects higher gross and operating margins. The Company is engaged in the business of distributing maintenance, repair & operating products and service to industrial customers.
